We are excited to announce that The Equine Market will soon be opening applications for our very first Brand Ambassador Programme, with applications expected to open from mid June onwards.
As a brand built by everyday equestrians, for everyday equestrians, this is something we have wanted to do for a long time. But we also want to be honest about what we are looking for and what being an ambassador for The Equine Market actually means.
This is not about finding the rider with the biggest following or the most polished social media feed.
We are looking for genuine people who truly support what we are building.
At The Equine Market, our mission is simple. We want to make horse riding more affordable, accessible and safer for everyday riders.
Because of that, we want ambassadors who genuinely understand and support the platform before applying.
For us, that support looks like:
- Following and engaging with our social media
- Sharing our posts and helping spread awareness
- Talking about The Equine Market within the equestrian community
- Buying or selling through the platform
- Supporting our mission and values
- Helping us grow organically
We believe genuine support says far more than follower numbers ever will.
One of the biggest misconceptions around ambassador programmes is that you need huge numbers online to be considered.
That is not what we are focused on.
We are far more interested in:
- Authenticity
- Community support
- Consistency
- Positive attitudes
- Genuine engagement
- Riders who truly understand the everyday cost of horses
Some of the best ambassadors are grassroots riders who simply love helping others and actively support the brands they work with.
We also want to set clear expectations from the beginning.
If selected, ambassadors will be expected to actively use and promote The Equine Market platform throughout their ambassador period.
This includes:
- Buying and/or selling through the platform where possible
- Regularly sharing The Equine Market online
- Creating honest and engaging content
- Tagging and mentioning us appropriately
- Interacting with our campaigns and posts
- Encouraging others to use the platform
- Representing the brand positively both online and offline
Most importantly, we want ambassadors who genuinely use the platform themselves and understand the experience they are promoting to others.
We want real partnerships with real riders.
One thing that matters hugely to us is supporting grassroots equestrians.
We know how expensive horses can be and how difficult it can sometimes feel just to stay in the sport.
As part of our ambassador programme, we will be offering a monetary contribution towards everyday horse costs for one selected rider every 6 months.
It may not be life changing money, but we hope it helps make things a little easier.
Rather than keeping the same sponsorship team forever, we want to rotate opportunities every 6 months so more riders have the chance to be involved and supported.
The Equine Market was created to help riders save money, make money and stay involved in the sport they love.
We want ambassadors who genuinely believe in that mission and want to help us grow a platform that supports the wider equestrian community.
